Jeremy Douglas started writing music at the age of 17. Since then he has compiled an incredible story through his song writing. His approach to the way he writes draws from a mixture of 80’s production coupled with blues and folk instruments. His songs are real as a result of a small town upbringing mixing with big city experiences.
Rolling Stone review (Tuesdays on fire): Opening his set with a tender track titled “Someone To Watch Over Me”, Douglas started strong, captivating those in attendance with his delicate stare and emotive vocals, aided by a bassist and a female backing vocalist. As good as his guitar pickings are, Douglas’ voice is his true instrument – a kind of Damien Rice meets Tallest Man On Earth on an indie soundtrack.’
